Quest: a Group for Homosexual Catholics
Span Dates: 1975-2001
The Quest items in the ephemera collection of the Hall Carpenter Archives consist primarily of the publications Quest Link and Quest Journal. It also includes the first annual report of a Yorkshire group, conference programs, one poster, and Michael Stephens' 1983 report, "Gay Catholics in Britain: the story of Quest." In addition to the ephemera of this collection, the Quest office holds the unprocessed, historical records of the organization. Information about this material may be obtained from their office. Contact information is available on their website.
A group of gay and lesbian Catholics organized Quest in 1973 in London to promote their well being within the Catholic Church in the United Kingdom. See their timeline on their website for more information about the organization.
There is not a finding aid for the ephemera collection nor the unprocessed records at the Quest office.
