Description

This tape discusses Chadwick's activism in the mid-1960s as it coordinated with Glide Memorial United Methodist Church. It also includes her memories of the New Year's Ball incident. The interviewer was Paul Gabriel.

Hist/Bio Note

There is very little biographical information about Chadwick. In 1964, Chadwick was the director of parish life at the Lutheran North Beach Mission where Chuck Lewis was the minister. She and Lewis were present at the New Year's Ball at California Hall in 1964, where they took photographs of the police harrassment.
